I did an informal experiment a few years ago, using only used one kind of aerator, the Vinturi. Here are the results:
Since then lots of different styles have come out. What do you think? Have you had any luck with any of these aerators?

We’ve always got a couple of those plastic 99 cent beer pitchers hanging around that we put into service when we’re just not getting anything out of a wine. Sometimes it works wonders, sometimes not. It gives a tight wine a second chance. Also, with a small wad of Siran wrap, can slightly savage a corked bottle. Cheers!
